Dear aspirant,

Sncl2 is a lewis acid so it is considered as an electrophile not nucleophile.

Examples of nucleophiles are the halogen anions (I-, Cl-, Br-), the hydroxide ion (OH-), the cyanide ion (CN-), ammonia(NH3), and water.
