No, there is a lot of difference in the syllabus.
For CET, you have to study only class 12 syllabus and that too from board books strictly. Whereas for jee mains, you have to cover both class 11 and 12. I will suggest you study for jee, then CET will be a cake walk for you.

The syllabus for jee mains and mhcet are a bit different.
Like there is a very less difference so you need to take printout of both the exams and prepare as per the syllabus. Most of the syllabus is same so don't need to worry. Prepare well.
