As a general category student the chance of getting IET for chemical engineering by securing 30k rank in uptu is impossible. Even if you belong from home state up, then also the chances are impossible in 3rd or 4th round of counselling. Last year the cutoff closing rank for chemical engineering in IET for general candidate was-

Round 3:

Home state candidate- 3298, Other state candidate- 2812

Round 4:

Home state candidate- 3658, Other state candidate- 2830

So as your chances of getting IET is quite impossible for even in the 4th round of counselling it is better to go for other colleges.

There is no chance of yours getting IET with your quoted rank as closing rank for your desired branch is around 4500 .
