Is there any cons by doing INTEGRATED MTECH course with respect to placements? I came to know that many of the MNC's companies doesn't allow to sit in placement. Is it correct?

hi,

see Integrated m.tech course is beneficial for those who want to do further research or phd courses in future. generally bachelor of technology course is of 4 years where integrated m.tech course is of 5 years duration , syllabus includes the core topics as well as thesis on that particular area. companies like tcs, wipro, hcl, Accenture where recruitment is for only b.tech course holders, you can not apply for that recruitment only, however you are eligible to apply for all the recruitment whoch comes for m.tech course holders. the main reason is service based companies want candidates who have done 4 years b.tech on that particular discipline, for  those type of recruitment m.tech course holders are over qualified. again the placement is solely depends on the institute, if the institute comes under tier 1 category you would surely get excellent placement opportunity.

hope you may understand.
