Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test is is an exam conducted for admission to medical, engineering and dental colleges of Karnataka. It is for admission to undergraduate engineering courses at around 190 engineering colleges in the state of Karnataka.

Candidates who have passed there 12th with subjects like Chemistry Physics and Biology along with English are eligible for applying. It is a state-level entrance test mandatory for all candidates seeking admissions to engineering and technical programmes in Member Institutions of COMEDK.

It is a computer based test in which one mark is awarded for every correct answer and there is no negative marking for wrong answer.

Hence you can get admission for medicine through this exam. Both neet and comedk offers admission for medical colleges. The difference is that neet examination offers admission to colleges all over India, but  through comedk you can only get into medical colleges in Karnataka.
