is there any pendulum except simple pendulum in the neet syllabus? is it enough? are any questions asked in previous year other than simple pendulum? and nta has written in bracket of free,forced,damped oscillation as qualitative analysis. what does that mean?

Hi Ritvik!!

There are four types of pendulum including the simple pendulum namely compound pendulum, conical pendulum and torisonal pendulum.

For the NEET preparation, simple pendulum is important and thus enough.

Very rare questions have been asked in previous paper from other than simple pendulum.

Free, forced, damped oscillations are the different types of oscillation carried out using a simple pendulum.
