Yes there is a lot of scope for this branch. India has been exponentially growing in the field of Software and Electronics. Thus the branches like CSE , IT , ECE (which is an updated version of ETE itself). Thus you can very much expect the best placement of your college to be of CSE and ECE guy. Considering specifically your branch, you have a job opening in every telecommunications company in India with some government openings also like BSNL. The branch, though is rare nowadays, is one of the first branches to utilise digital revolution in India. The syllabus is also more or less same with ECE. So while taking ETE you can consider yourself to be studying ECE. I hope I cleared your doubt.
