Hello there,

Hope you are doing well.

Math is not a required subject for pursuing Psychology or Sociology as a course.

Educational qualification for Psychology:

Candidates from all streams can pursue psychology courses. Candidates who have completed 10+2 from a recognized board of education are eligible with a prerequisite that they have scored at least 55% marks. Additional eligibility criteria may also be mentioned by a few colleges during admission .

Educational qualification for Sociology:

Successful completion of class 12th from a recognised board with subjects of the arts/humanities stream , preferably. Some universities, however, do not have a restriction about streams taken up in intermediate school. Candidates should have minimum aggregate marks 40-50%.
