Hi there hope you are doing really well. Congratulation for scoring more than 97 percentile in JEE mains examination. And definitely yes you will get core branch in this percentile in many NIT and even some of the top branches if it is your home state NIT. with this percentile you can't be sure about getting the core branches in top 5 NIT of India but yes you can get core branches in other NIT. Hope this will help you good luck.
