Hope you are doing great.  In order to do choose filling in JOSAA Counselling:

• All candidates must submit their preferences for institute and programme in the order they are listed in their registration documents.
• The candidate's eligibility will determine the institutes and programmes that are available to them. Candidates may select as many options from the list of available options to fill out in the order of their preferences.
• If a candidate wants to alter their preferred options, they may do so within the allotted time for each round specified in the counselling schedule. Only after choices have been locked are candidates required to take a printout of the completed choices.
• There are two panes on the choice filling page. Both the left and right panes display every option that is currently available. From the left pane, candidates can add as many options as they want in the order of preference (available choices). The choice will be added to the right pane and removed from the left pane as soon as they press the "Add" button in the left pane to add a specific choice. After clicking the "SAVE" button, the choices that are currently in the right pane will be taken into consideration as submitted choices.

JEE places a great deal of focus on ordering decision. The wrong order could cost you your valuable seat.

Before filing a choice, the following points must be understood.

• You have to list the branches in order of importance. Never arrange branches randomly because seating is assigned in descending order of preferences.

• Before ordering, you must look at the cutoff patterns from the previous two years. You'll get a sense of potential patterns for this year from it.

• Never limit your options. It might not be a good idea to submit only one or two selections that you qualify for based on last year's patterns, as those may alter this year.
