No, admission to BSc Chem(Hons) is purely based on the merit of the qualifying examination.

Eligibility Criteria;Candidates needs to have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with overall percentage in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics should be 55% and one compulsory language should be 50% .
