Hi

NEET is the entrance examination which you need to qualify to get into following medical courses :-

  • MBBS

  • BDS

  • Ayush courses( Ayurveda i. e BAMS , Unani i.e B. U. M. S, Siddha i. e BSMS, and Homeopathy i.e BHMS ) and

  • veterinary i. e BVSc.

I am extremely sorry to tell you dear but being an arts student you are not eligible for Neet examination and thus cannot  pursue medical courses.

This is because

Being can a student you wouldn't have studied subjects like physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology i n your class 12th but

As per, Neet 2021 eligibility criteria to be eligible you must be either appearing for 12th board examination 2021 or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got:-

----------) at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

----------) at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc/St

----------) at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

Also,

* to be eligible for neet 2021 one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December 2021

* There is no upper age limit for Neet 2021

* There's no limit for the maximum number of attempts/times one can appear in NEET.

Hello,

Because you completed your intermediate in the Arts stream and want to pursue a medical course, you are ineligible for any medical course because you must have completed your intermediate in the Medical stream to pursue a medical course. However, you do have one chance to pursue a GNM course, which can be pursued by Arts students as well. You have the option of enrolling in any private college.Medical students are given preference, but if you have a strong grade in your twelfth standard, you may be eligible for a government seat as well. Otherwise, you may enrol in a private institution.

Aspirants can seek a gratifying career in nursing even after completing class 12 with Arts or Commerce streams. Students who have completed their class 12 examinations with Arts or Commerce courses can enrol in the Auxiliary Nursing Midwife (ANM) and General Nursing Midwife (GNM) diploma programmes.

Hope it helped
