rural weightage gives those candidates who studied in rural area means undeveloped area of up . only those candidate take adventage of this whose are not opting any other quota .so you can say that general candidate can take adventage of rural weightage.

If i have valid rural weightage certificate then my rank with rural weightage is considered as general rank...it it right
