By any chance did you select Tamilnadu as your State of Eligibility while filling the NEET application form in December of 2019? And Telangana was separated from AP in 2014 and so she must have studied in United AP and then bifurcated AP. And there are 2 areas in AP. OU, SVU, AU.

• AU area has the following districts: East Godavari, West Godavari, Prakasam, Krishna, Srikakulam, Guntur, Vizianagaram, and Visakhapatnam
• SVU has Chittoor,Ananthapur, Kurnool, Kadapa, and Nellore
• OU area has Adilabad, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medak, Nizamabad, Khammam, Karimnagar,, Mahaboobnagar, Nalgonda, and Warangal districts.

And to be a locale to that area, a Candidate should have studied for a minimum of 4 years. We do not know where your daughter has completed her studies from 1st to 10th. It might be a case of local and non local area. Unfortunately, you cannot change the Local status in the merit list once it has been released. There have been instance where Candidates reached out to the Registrar but nothing was done.
