My college gave me only Transfer Certificate and Character certificate. They did not gave me migration Certificate. Is it required for admission in NIT

Hello,

You do not need Migration certificate for document verification if you get seat in an NIT. Here is the list of documents that you need to keep ready and provide at the time of document verification

  • Class 10th Mark Certificate and Aadhar Card (for Date of Birth)
  • Class 12th Mark Sheet and Certificate
  • Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/GEN-EWS), if applicable, as per Government of India format, available on the JoSAA-2021 website, issued by the competent authority.
  • Crossed Bank Cheque copy / Image of Passbook with bank account details.
  • Medical Certificate (in specified Format available on JoSAA-2021 format)
  • Passport (if applicable)
  • Admit card of JEE (Main)
  • PWD certificate (if applicable)
