I hope conduct certificate is the same as character certificate. The character certificate is valid for a period of 6 months from the date it has been issued. For definite purposed like counselling, such certificates should be well within the validity date. I suggest you should get it made from the DC/ Tehsildar/ SDM office of your locality.
