With a cut off score of 181 in BC category, it becomes difficult to procure a seat in the Anna university, main campus when comparing the results of previous years. Since it is the top ranked college and gets filled in the first place, a cut off score of something which is not less than 195 would get you a seat there. The most opted branch among candidates, CSE has a closing cut off of 199 or above for College of engineering, Guindy. But, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats, by which nothing can be predicted for sure.
