Hey,

First of all congratulations for scoring well in GATE. Getting the structural engineering branch completely depends on the cutoff that is released by the colleges for 2020.If we consider the  cutoffs for the past few years, chances of getting your desired branch in IIT's or NIT's are quite high and you can get it. Wish you all the best for your future endeavors!

Hello,

You have not mentioned your category. It is difficult to help you with your query because the cut off is different for each category. Please tell us your category.

Assuming that you belong to general category considering previous years cut off trends you may get seat in structural engineering in

  • IIT, Bombay(600)
  • IIT, Kanpur, (561)
  • NIT, Durgapur(574)
  • NIT, Hamirpur(629)

However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.
