According to your rank , it would be tough getting into iit's , however you can go for counselling , you might get a lower branch in the last rounds . However you can try for other colleges that offer admission on basis of JEE Advanced .

JEE Advanced score can be used to take admission to many colleges other than IIT which are these -

1)IISC Bangalore

2)IISER

3)IIST Thiruvananthapuram

4)RGIPT

5)IIPE

These are all national level research institutes and all are institute of national importance so you can try for them also to get admission .

Firstly, congratulations for qualifying JEE Mains , and securing a great rank in JEE advance as well, it's not an easy task. Now, with your EWS rank, it's not very probable that you will get a seat in any of the IITs for any branch, because the cutoff for EWS category ranges upto 1500 maximum.

To tell you about your exact admission possibilities is really tough since Cutoff vary Every year based on numerous factors but as per last year's Cutoff getting into IITs might not be possible for you even with your Gen EWS rank.
IITs usually have a closing rank of around 1200 for Gen EWS category and since your rank is 2899 getting into IITs will be really tough for you.
