Yes it is compulasory to include english or any other languange you had in class 12th boards. With 88 percentage in your class 12th boards examiantions you are very much an average acheiever and you might not be able to get a college with this much of a percentage in the University of Delhi . You can get admissions if you belong to the general or the unreserved cateogory . You would surely get in if you belong to any of the reserved categories .
