Jadavpur University generally requires a minimum of 60% aggregate in PCM for general category candidates in engineering admissions (relaxations apply for reserved categories).

If you improve your score in one subject through NIOS and your new PCM aggregate reaches 60% or more , then you can be eligible . However, Jadavpur University’s eligibility criteria may specify whether improvement exams from NIOS are accepted.

What You Should Do:

1. Check Official Guidelines – Visit Jadavpur University’s admission website or contact the admission office to confirm if NIOS improvement marks are accepted.
   
   
2. Score Well in WBJEE – Admission is based on WBJEE rank , so even if you meet the PCM eligibility, you need a good WBJEE score for admission.

If you belong to a reserved category (SC/ST/OBC), check if your category has a lower PCM percentage requirement .
