At this rank, you don't have many options to choose from. Below is the list of some IITs and branches which you might get in them:

• IIT  Jodhpur ( Biotech)
• ISM Dhanbad ( Mining Machinery Engg.)
• IIT BHU ( Mining )
• IIT BHU (Ceramic)
• ISM Dhanbad ( Environmental Engg.)

It is difficult to tell what branches or college you will get without knowing which category you belong to.

Assuming that you are from general category, 9791 is a pretty fair rank to get in jee advanced, but is surely not enough to get into a top branch in a reputed IIT.

Y ou can try and apply in IIT Madras and IIT BHU. Admission in IIT's generally close at 6000. But you can apply for IISER, which is a renowned institute and a great college if you are interested in research and has 3 to 5 campuses of the same. You can also go for RGIPT and ISM Dhanbad which also take admissions on the basis of IIT advanced.

Congrats on getting a good rank in JEE ADVANCED 2019.

As per your rank ,i.e 9791 and your category quota ,i.e General , and as per the previous year cutoffs.

You have some good chances of getting into IITs.
