ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Admission
to the research courses offered by MIT is subject to meeting the basic
eligibility criteria
set by Anna University. The candidate is further required to score a minimum of 6.75 CGPA in M.
Tech
, M.E./M.A/M.Sc. and at least 55% marks in the relevant subject to be
eligible
to apply.

- The basic minimum eligibility for UG courses is 10+2 in Science stream with 50% marks in PCM
- For PG courses, the basic eligibility criteria is a graduate degree in the relevant discipline, and for research programs, post-graduate degree or diploma in the relevant discipline is required
- BE/BTech candidates are selected on the basis of TNEA counselling.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- B.Tech candidates are admitted only through TNEA, a single window state-wide counselling conducted by Anna University.
- M.Tech candidates are expected to appear for GATE or TANCET for admissions.
- For Ph.D./MS programs, the candidate can apply online/offline for which the applications can be downloaded from the university website or collected from the admission cell.
