Chmaces for IT or Software engineering are very low at both Chennai and Vellore campus.
However, excellent chances observed at Amravati and Bhopal campus for which counselling shall begin from 14th May 2018.
You can however get core branches like Production engineering and Biomedical engineering at Vellore campus.
