It really depends on the university in which the student was enrolled. Make sure to go through the university guidelines. If the student has completed the first year and then discontinued, there might be a chance (again not sure). But if the student had discontinued without completing the first year courses, then she might have to start over from the beginning.

She completed 2 years n from third year she discontinued. And college was from JNTU university if I am not wrong...
