Mr. Bala, NTA doesn't mention any specific timeline regarding uploading images once notified. So, you can correct the images within the correction period when it opens from January 15th to January 31st. Now the reason why it is good to upload immediately is because if it doesn't fulfil the guidelines, you will be notified again and you will get another chance to upload the correct image.

No, this isn't true. You can make corrections only during the correction window period . But please make sure you check everything properly before submitting the application during correction window because it is a one time correction window , means that you won't be able to do anything if you submit the wrong or incomplete application. Then your application will get rejected.
The correction window opens on 15 January 2020.

Also, keep your user ID and password ready. You will have to login to your account for correction. Also, keep all the documents with you so that you can recheck everything.
