These days most of the colleges conduct a common national entrance examination just like JEE mains and NEET. But still if you fail to score good in JEE mains or advanced then your 12th percentage can help you get a good college.
But if the college entrance/admission is completely based on a entrance examination then your 12th percentage won't help you getting admission into that college.
