you are in 2nd year. you have to good time to prepare. By the end 3rd year, preparation for campus will start. you can get a job at that time. You can prepare from now. how campus activity is done and what is to be prepared you can search in web.

MBA is good degree and chances of getting a good job is high. IIMs are best campus for MBA and provides high package campus drive. If you appear GATE then you can get job through PSU or go for MTech. GRE is will improve your english skills so that you can understand english said in foreign countries. Through GRE , you can go aboard and apply for higher studies.

every option is good and pursued by many candidates. you choose which one will be best option for you.

MBA is a very sought after course for graduates. If you secure good percentile in CAT exam, you might get admitted to top B Schools of the country such as IIMs. They have great placement records. So doing MBA opens up a lot of job opportunities for you.
GATE on the other hand provides you with technical jobs at leading PSUs of India.
However it depends on your interest and aptitude to decide between MBA or GATE.
