Aeronautical engineers specialises in maintenance and designing of aircrafts for their better operations.
There are many opportunities both in public and private sector for aeronautical engineers. Organizations like NAL(National Aeronautical Laboratory), HAL (hindustan Aeronautical Laboratory), DRDO, ISRO, Indian Air Force, Department of civil aviation etc. provide opportunities in public sector.
Opportunities in private sector have also increased in recent years due to boom in aviation sector. Aeronautical engineers can look for opportunities in private airlines, airclubs, etc.
Aeronautical engineers can earn anything in between 3-4lacs per annum in the initial stage to 30-40lacs per annum as one moves up the ladder in an organization.
Admission to the course can be availed through IIT JEE after 12th .

IIT MADRAS, Delhi institute of aeronautical sciences, PEC university of technology etc. Course fees varies from institute to institute. It can range anywhere between 4lacs to 7lacs in a reputed institute.
