JEE Mains Exam is conduted by CBSE(central board of secondary education) all over India.
The exam is conducted on the following dates for the year 2018,
Online Exam (Computer Based Test) is conducted on 15th and 16th April 2018.
Offline Exam (Written based exam) is conducted on 8th April 2018.
This Exam is conducted as an entrance exams for engineering colleges.
and paper 2 is conducted about B.Arch (Architecture)

JEE Main is a national level engineering entrance exam conducted for admissions to UG engineering programmes into 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 23 CFTIs. Every year, over 12 lakh candidates appear in exam. This year, as many as 11,48,000 candidates have registered for JEE Main 2018, which is 50,989 less than last year.
