GRE is both computer based and pen- paper based test. Candidates can take the computer based test once in every 21 days from the day of the exam. The exam duration is 3 hours and 45 minutes.

According to the GRE syllabus 2018, the General GRE test format covers three sections. They are:

Verbal Reasoning

Quantitative Reasoning

Analytical Writing
