Based on previous placement trends and student review the average package offered is about 4-5 lakhs.The major recruiters visiting the campus are MainTech,Silicone Interface, Mumbai,Tata Consultancy Services,Tech-Mahindra Limited,WIPRO Limited,Aptus Datalabs, Bangalore,Citrix Systems,Cognizant,Technology Solutions,Efftronics Systems Pvt. Ltd.,HCL Technology Limited,IBM India,Infosys etc.The highest package offered was 7 lacs per annum. They offer pre-placement training for students and they are constantly improving their placements. Moreover, being from computer science branch,you will have plently of opportunities off campus as well due to the demand in technology sector for CSE students.You need to be very good at academics though because the competition level is very high.If you have additional industry required skills or certification courses, then it is easier to get a job. Of course communication skill will matter in top companies so improve that too if needed.Once you gain work experience your salary prospects will get better. Talking about CTC, it depends on the particular company.
