Personally I feel the books which are generally recommended are not for everyone because I have also qualified jee mains and I haven't read a single word of HC Verma for physics or neither solved a question from that book.

I followed DC Pandey series and previous year question papers so if you are not getting interest to solve HC Verma then you can practice from DC Pandey and the previous years. Also revise the topics or notes which are taught in your coaching and that would be enough.
