Hello Vivek. So for Fms Delhi, for first round, they shortlist purely on the basis of cat score. They consider 40% of your score in verbal section, 30% of your score in reasoning section and 30% of your score in quant section. Generally for first round the cutoff for general category remains around 98.6 percentile.

In the second round, there is gd, extempore and personal interview. Now, final admission offer is based on your academic record, work experience, cat score, gd score, extempore score and personal interview score.

Generally, 99.5+ is considered a safe score for a final admission convert even though the initial cutoff is 98.6. This is because, fms gives more weightage to cat score.

So, prepare hard for cat, and get into the grand old red building.

FMS, Delhi is one of the most prestigious Institute for doing MBA with very low fee structure. Your acedemics are very good for getting admission in FMS, Delhi butfor that a good CAT score is must.

 The cut off for FMS lies almost equal to that of IIM, Ahmedabad. You should have score 99.8 or more percentile in CAT for getting admission in FMS.
