It is entirely your calling. Both NLU Ranchi and IPU College VIPS are good at their respective places. Both of these colleges have got good infrastructure. Both of these have got good team of faculty members. The ambience is good where you can learn and grow. It all depends upon you as to how you make use of the resources being provided to you. If you work hard,you can make your way through all odds. And when it comes to placements,it depends on your personal calibre.

IPU VIPS would be a lot better choice , there are problems going on in NLU,Ranchi students have proteseted about their demands. I can definately tell you one thing that is NLU is not a student friendly campus. 

VIPS is a clean campus with a lot of opportunities also has good location and is the top college for LAW of IPU. Choose VIPS if you want to go for a better campus life and go for NLU for its name.

Also try to get USLLS if you can in spot round, hope it helps.
