Hello Aspirant,

CET which stands for Common Entrance Test is an entrance exam conducted by the Government of Karnataka whereas COMEDK which stands for Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka is conducted by private college associations.

CET can be attempted by Karnataka people only (i.e aspirants with minimum 7 years study in Karnataka), whereas COMEDK can be attempted by non-Karnataka students as well. I feel that COMEDK exam is tougher but getting a good rank is easy and KCET is easier but getting a good rank is tough since the top students of KCET mostly don't apply for COMEDK and reservations in KCET is higher. I'm telling this from my personal experience as I have attempted both the exams. Its my suggestion to attempt both and choose the best option available at the end.

Hope this helps

All the best in your future endeavours
