NEET is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS,BDS, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India. And to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now NEET doesn't have a vertical reservation in PWD. PWD stands with Persons with Handicap. NEET only has horizontal reservation within your Category. Now for example if you belong to OBC and you are eligible for PWD reservation, then you can claim OBC-PWD reservation. For that you should have a PWD certificate from an authorised Doctor. If you qualify in NEET and then secure a seat in MBBS under OBC-PWD Category, you need to produce a certificate after being assessed by Disability Assessment Centre. There is something called Benchmark disabilities and there is a slab for the type of disabilities that can qualify for PWD reservation. You can check the details in NEET Information Bulletin.
