PSGCT BTech Admissions and Selection Process

Selection of the candidates for the 4 year BTech programmes is made on the basis of TNEA Counselling.Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA)is a single window process and admissions in Tamil Nadu engineering colleges are governed by Anna University every year for admission to undergraduate level engineering courses available at various engineering colleges of the state.

PSGCT BTech Application Process

The admissions are conducted through TNEA Counselling and the application process is governed by Anna University.

The candidate will have to visit the universitys official website to check for the application process.

TNEA Application Process

TNEA Application Form is available in online mode only. Candidates have to first opt for registration with personal and academic details.

Candidates can now pay the application fee online via Net Banking/Debit Card/ Credit Card or through a demand draft drawn in favor of "The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions, Anna University".

Candidates have to send the filled-in TNEA Application either in person or by post along with photocopies of mark sheet(s), proof of age and copies of all other relevant certificates to the Secretary, TNEA, Anna University, Chennai, on or before the last date.

SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu desirous of availing registration fee concession should submit a photocopy of the Permanent Community Certificate Card or electronic form/digitally signed e-certificate.

All the demand drafts should be drawn in favour of The Secretary (TNEA), Anna University payable at Chennai.

Candidates shall enclose the following certificates along with the application:

PSGCT BTech Admission Cycle

The cycle for admissions to the 4 year BE/BTech programmes begins with the application submission of the qualifying examination and ends with the seat allotment and document verification process.

The new academic session typically begins in the month of August.
