There are many home state quotas, so you have to check is there any qouta applicable for you. Check this to see all the opening and closing ranks of all nits nrevious year:

Hello,
Ur rank is good, and u can get admission in NIT easily. I would suggest u can also go for IIT since with this rank u can get seat in IIT as well. Try in ur home state IIT and NIT first. Then check the cut offs for the various NIT and IIT.
