Let's say the number of candidates for April exam increased to 12,00,000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your total score) X 12,00,000/100. With this rank, it might be difficult for NIT even with EWS reservation. You might be able to get a decent college through JOSAA. But if you want to appear for JEE Advanced, you will qualify because the expected qualifying percentile for JEE Advanced is 85 and above.

If you consider previous year cutoffs then your rank will be around 1.1 lakhs (EWS rank). With this rank it is pretty difficult to get any NIT's. Work hard for JEE mains 2.
