• You can get admission at top nits, but you may not get top branches, you may have to compromise with your branch incase you prefer top nits, you can get a decent branches at middle layered nits.

Not sure about the top NITs or IIITS but with this rank you might land into second or third tier NITS. In general you need to have a percentile more than 97% to get admission into NITS but being an OBC category student the cutoffs are low for you. However, there's still one chance left for you work harder this time and focus on increasing your rank then you'll easily get top NITS.
