Hi there,

Many 1st year engineering student appear for entrance examination while doing full time degree courses so nothing untoward is going to happen to your current seat if you won't be able to clear it. KCET eligibility criteria states that candidate should have completed 2nd PUC/10+2 from physics, maths with optional subject as Computer Science/ Biology/ Bio-Tech/Chemistry/ Electronics.

General category student aggregate should be 45% and for SC/ST/OBC its 40%

If you all these points are true in your case you can apply for KCET.
