I am extremely sorry to tell you dear but you are not eligible for Neet examination.

This is because,

To be eligible for Neet you must pass individually in both theory and practical examination in physics chemistry and Biology but with 09 marks in  theory you have failed in theory examination and thus failed in that subject and so failed in fulfilling the very criteria of passing PCB, hence not eligible as Neet eligibility criteria says that :-

To be eligible one should  pass 12th board examination with PCB i. e physics, chemistry,biology/biotechnology and English, should have passed both the  practical and theory examination individually  in PCB and must have got:-

• at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

• at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category

• at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

-------------------)  Age limit :-

• Lower age limit:- to be eligible for neet  one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December in the year of appearing for the examination .

• Upper age limit :-There's no upper age limit for NEET. Earlier there was upper age limit  of 25 years which was pending in supreme court, on 9th march 2022 NMC in its notice has removed upper age limit. Hello Aspirant,

No you are not eligible for NEET UG if you have failed in theory although you passed practical but for NEET UG you must be passed in theory as well as practicals of PCB combination.

Eligibility criteria for NEET UG :-

>>>>> You need to pass separately in theory as well as in practical of PCB.

>>>>> If you belongs to General/UR category then your aggregate of PCB (Theory + Practical) should be equal to or more than 50%(40% for SC/ST/OBC and 45% for PwD).

>>>>> You should be pass in English subject as well.

>>>>> Your minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st 2022, as per the current eligibility criteria.

>>>>> Now there is no upper age limit for NEET UG.
