It depends on which path you want to take, of course. While agriculture and horticulture have their similarities, they're two completely different things.
Both the subjects are equally profitable,  and have great career scope in future. Scope and business in horticulture are increasing day by day. In India, horticulturists are also in high demand. There are a numbers of job opportunities that are available after completion of any one of these two.
