Hi,

Since your son has done his entire education in Maharashtra, so I guess you have been living there for more than 10 years. You can claim domicile of Maharashtra, if you have lived there for more than 10 years and have done your class 10 and 12. And since you're a residence of Karnataka, you can apply for 85% state quota of Karnataka too.

Since this year the cutoff have gone high for medical and dental seats, the chances are low, bit I will still recommend you to participate in counselling of both the states and try your luck. You can have increased chances of getting one if luck is with you.
