Self study is very important as it tells you about your weakness, your strong subject/topics. It helps you in understanding topics at your own pace. It is very good that you want to do self preparation of JEE at home. But, self - study only pays when you do your studies with discipline and regularity. Both of them are required along self study to clear any exam. So, I suggest you that you should before starting preparation, you should make a timetable and follow that timetable regularly. Now, talking about JEE, first read NCERT books of Maths, Physics and Chemistry as it will help you in making a foundation. Now, after reading a chapter from NCERT, use another book for understanding advanced topics and to solve problems. Solving problems along is very important.

• SL Loney (for trigonometry and coordinate geometry)

For Physics:
