Zoology forms an integral part of Biology, besides Botany. However I believe at any Public University in India, the first year of B.Sc. in Botany or Zoology will be generalized and will focus on Biosciences, Living Systems, Ecology, Genetics, Biological, Chemical and Physical Applications as a whole.
