Hello candidate , do you mean IAS , if you mean IAS then choose a subject you are more interested in.  But if you are confused then you should apply for bachelor of arts (B.A) with subjects like history, geography, political science and economics. Because for upsc you require a particular course , a recognised degree from a recognised college so 3year will be a good option and since many questions are basically asked from history economic geography so you can go with them in you bachelor degree but let me tell you , you should always choose subject according to you interest . Whether you want to join engineering medical, arts, commerce it doesn't matter, course should be degree

Thank you

Hello,

There is no specific stream required to be eligible for IAS. Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a reputed university to be eligible for IAS the is no particular stream required. So you can take any stream and give IAS. There is no such IAS eligibility percentage to appear for the exam. Candidates who are awaiting their final result of the graduation can also apply.
