both colleges have their significance and to tell you which is the best, i suggest NIT'S are the best colleges since they are government colleges and that too a very quality education is provided over there.

Not only quality education, faculty staff is very educated and every one have their PH.D'S and they are highly talented.

regarding placements also, NIT'S plays an key role and the average package ranges from 5-30 lakhs and may increase more depending up on the skils of the students.

NIT'S and IIT'S are the top colleges which provide the best education and offers best placememts in the world.

Both of them are good options.If you are getting admission in top 6 NITs then definitely go for admission in NITs but if you aren't then go for VIT UNIVERSITY CSE branch.

But at last it totally depends upon your interest and in which field you want to gain knowledge.Take your decision carefully.
