what are subjects taken in consideration when opting Geology (hons) in DU? are "best 4 %" or "best three subject%" ?

Hello Vijay

From this year onwards, it has been made compulsory to include mathematics in your best four subjects.

So one would be mathematics.

The other needs to be a language subject, either core or elective.

Other two could be any of them depending upon your choice and Marks scored in that.

on DU website it is given that for Geology Hons physics chemistry and maths are ought to be added in best three subject. Also getting admitted in Geology hons we have to calculate best three(as stated above) not our best four %.      Is it possible to get admitted in Geology Hons by calculating "Best 4 %"?

It also depends on the college that which percentage it prefers for admission for UG course.
In some colleges, PCM percentage is considered for B.Sc course. You are advised to enquire about that in the college before taking admission.
